Have your wedding ceremony in the National Gallery of Australia’s heritage-listed Sculpture Garden. There are casuarina forests, secluded sitting nooks, shady pathways and grassy knolls hidden in the garden. While you enjoy photos by the lake, under the trees or in front of some of our famous sculptures your guests can enjoy a glass of champagne or stroll around the garden.
The Gandel Hall is a majestic new multipurpose venue that is sure to
make an impression on your guests. The hall is spacious, light-filled
and exquisitely detailed with gold-leaf doors and red ironbark floors opening onto the new Australian Garden. The Gandel Hall
accommodates 350 seated guests or 900 guests cocktail and can also be divided into three separate spaces accommodating 110 seated guests or 300 guests cocktail.
The exclusive Members Lounge overlooks the Sculpture Garden and Lake Burley Griffin and can accommodate up to 80 guests for cocktail receptions or 60 guests seated. With floor-to-ceiling windows featuring magnificent views over the lake, it is a special venue to experience.
The Gallery cafe makes a grand impression with its 10-metre-high ceilings and large windows overlooking the Sculpture Garden. It offers a spacious and open atmosphere and is suitable for cocktails or dinner receptions and accommodates up to 200 guests for cocktails and 120 guests seated for dinner.
